This is a case of diet zealots peddling complete garbage backed up with 0 evidence... because no evidence exists.
What is the best diet to prevent me from getting Corona Virus?
There is no diet that prevents or cures SARS-Cov-2. It is a virus and not a digestive bacteria that thrives or can be damaged by some foods and not others.
Depriving yourself of food or using different variations of fasts or intermittent fasting in the hope of 'starving' the virus also won't work. In fact, the effects of extended fasting such as elevated cortisol can put you at risk. The best diet to stick to in these uncertain times, all you can do, and all you should do, is eat a balanced diet, rich in micronutrients and total calories relevant to your goals, whether you want to gain weight, lose weight, maintain weight or prevent Corona Virus.
